Hello! I’m Jack (he/him), and now that my current roommate is moving out I’m looking for a new roommate to complete this two-bedroom unit.
The room on offer is extremely spacious, and offers views of the iconic Euromast to boot. It’s located on the ground floor of the GEB-Toren, right next to the Coolhaven metro stop and just a stone’s throw away from the Nieuwe Binnenweg and Het Park, the perfect spot for lounging on those rare sunny days in Rotterdam. There’s an Albert Heijn 5 minutes walk away and communal washing machines are just down the hall. In short, the apartment is right in the heart of bustling Rotterdam! The apartment features a shared bathroom and kitchen, which you would be sharing with me.
I’m looking for somebody who’s ideally slightly further along in their studies (finishing a bachelors or doing a masters) and who isn’t too loud, but would still enjoy grabbing a beer or watching a movie every so often. I have a slight preference for international students, but would also be cool with a Dutchie who’s fine with speaking English at home. I’m also open to roommates of all genders and backgrounds.
A bit about me: I’m 23, and am currently doing the final year of my Bachelor’s degree in History at Erasmus. I’m from California, though I’ve lived in the Netherlands for the last several years, including the last year in Rotterdam. My hobbies include reading, writing, collecting vinyl and watching sports, especially soccer and baseball.
